Refractive Surgery

Technolas® Perfect Vision offers a comprehensive refractive product portfolio delivering the widest range of advanced refractive surgery solutions. Technolas Perfect Vision is introducing two new approaches to the correction of presbyopia: INTRACOR®, the revolutionary treatment for the intrastromal correction of presbyopia with its TECHNOLAS® Femtosecond Workstation, and SUPRACOR™, where presbyopia correction is carried out by the TECHNOLAS® Excimer Workstation.

Cataract Surgery

Cataract surgery is the most commonly performed surgery in the U.S., with well over 3 million Americans having the procedure every year. Typically done on an outpatient basis, the natural lens is removed and replaced with what is called an intraocular lens (IOL). The procedure is highly successful and most people regain very good vision.

Vitreoretinal Surgery

itreoretinal surgery is the treatment of disorders related to the retina, vitreous and macula. Ophthalmic surgeons use specialized techniques, instruments and solutions to treat conditions that include retinal detachment, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and uveitis. Retinal and vitreous problems can cause severe loss of vision or even blindness. In some cases, surgery may be beneficial and – if done at the right time – might prevent severe loss of vision.
