Laser Locators Sean-in-the-video-room-at-Company-Man-Studios-e1445370798105-225x300 The Tampa Bay Business Journal (TBBJ) recently sat down with our President and CEO Sean O’Donnell to profile the recent successes of Laser Locators for their online video series, the Executive Files. Our company had a great time working with Alexis Muellner from the Journal, and Rob Tiisler at Company Man Studios, who filmed our interview providing insight on our business success, future strategies and community involvement. The final video product will be available on the TBBJ website in the coming weeks.

2015 has been a tremendous year for Laser Locators as we’ve been recognized as both an Inc. 5000 company for being one of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S, and honored as a Fast 50 company in the Tampa Bay area.

“It’s an honor to see our work recognized by such revered organizations,” said O’Donnell.  “I’m especially proud of our team who’s worked tirelessly over the years to provide our customers with the best products and service possible.”

Laser Locators was also voted as one of the Best Places to Work in the Tampa Bay area by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. Nominees for this award are evaluated by Quantum Workplace, which uses science-based tools to measure employee engagement, loyalty, team effectiveness, trust, feeling valued in the company and compensation.

The TBBJ also honored our talented Tayra Paul by naming her as a finalist for 2015 CFO of the Year Award. Laser Locators was named Top 10 semifinalists for the Small Business of the Year by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

“We’d like to thank the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, and, of course, Inc. Magazine for recognizing us and including our company on their esteemed lists,” said O’Donnell.

The Executive Files is on online series that’s profiled some of the greatest business influencers in the Bay, including fitness mogul Tony Little, Paul Anderson the CEO of Port Tampa Bay, and Thom Stork of the Florida Aquarium.

A video of the Laser Locators interview and an accompanying article will be published towards the end of 2015.
